The Oconto Area Humane Society and Animal Shelter offers temporary care for local animals and regularly needs resources and support to operate. Recognizing this ongoing need, the Crooked Lake/Mountain Lions Club stepped forward to offer meaningful assistance.
Members of the Crooked Lake/Mountain Lions Club organized a collection of blankets, towels, and financial donations to help the shelter continue running smoothly. Their efforts were aimed at ensuring the animals have a comfortable environment and that the shelter staff can carry out their duties effectively.
To symbolize their commitment, the Lions Club presented a $500 ceremonial check to the shelter. Pictured in the photo on the right is Chanel, a staff member of the shelter, is shown receiving the check from Lion Michele Connell, pictured on the left and Lion Linda Baeten, demonstrating the club’s tangible support for animal welfare in the community.
