MOUNTAIN – The Mountain Historical Society will host a Youth Pumpkin Hunt at 12:30 pm on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at the historic Green Lake Park Pavilion, located at 13322 State Highway 32/64 in Mountain.

During the Halloween event, young participants will search throughout the park for five hidden pumpkins. The children who discover the pumpkins will each receive a special prize. Every participating child will also receive a small gift, ensuring that everyone leaves with something to remember the afternoon.

Families can warm up with complimentary hot cocoa and enjoy cookies while spending time together at the park. The event is free and open to area youth, but all children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Youth Pumpkin Hunt offers families an opportunity to celebrate Halloween outdoors while enjoying the autumn scenery and historic surroundings of Green Lake Park. Organizers encourage participants to arrive on time so they are ready when the hunt begins.

The Mountain Historical Society invites local families and visitors to take part in this fun and festive community tradition while enjoying an authentic Mountain experience.
