LAKEWOOD – The Lakes Country Public Library in Lakewood will host a community gathering on Thursday, June 25, featuring social activities, service work and a Lunch N’ Learn program designed to connect local residents with health and wellness resources.
The event begins with Social Time from 11:00 to noon, when attendees are invited to bring a hobby or help tie-dye blankets for Project Linus. The program continues with Lunch N’ Learn from noon to 1:00 pm.
Featured speaker Cori Frisch will discuss “Who Can Come to the Clinic & What the Clinic Has to Offer!” Additional presentations will be given by Dustyn Weiland on massage therapy and Jennifer Halverson on aging well.
The program is sponsored in part by Social Time to Make Community Connections, the Northwoods Community Assistance Coalition and the Lakes Country Public Library. It will be held at the library, 15235 State Hwy 32, Lakewood.
