SURING – The Wabeno American Legion Sylvan Post 44 will hold a Gunless Poultry Shoot on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the Salty Anchor Bar & Grill, 12058 State Hwy 32, Suring. The event will begin at 1:00 pm.

Participants will have opportunities to win a variety of prizes, including steaks, pork chops, turkeys, hams, chicken and more. Despite its name, no firearms are involved in the event.

Proceeds will support local veterans and the programs of Wabeno American Legion Sylvan Post 44. Community members are encouraged to attend, enjoy the afternoon and help support area veterans.
