Library to Host Colorful Bandana Tie-Dye Event for All Ages

LAKEWOOD – The Lakes Country Library will invite community members to get creative this summer during a Bandana Tie-Dye event scheduled for Monday, July 6, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The hands-on program will be held at the library, located at 15235 State Hwy 32 in Lakewood.

The event is open to participants of all ages, making it a family-friendly opportunity for children, teens, adults, and caregivers to try a colorful craft together. Bandanas will be provided for those who attend, but participants may also bring their own items to dye.

Anyone who chooses to bring an item from home should make sure it is prewashed and made of 100% cotton so the dye can absorb properly.

Library programs like this one offer residents a chance to gather, learn a simple creative technique, and leave with a personalized project. The Bandana Tie-Dye event is expected to bring bright colors and summer fun to the library while giving attendees a finished item they can use or share.
