Roberts Lake Association to Host 50th Annual Fisheree and Corn Roast

WABENO – The Roberts Lake Association will hold its 50th Annual Fisheree and Corn Roast on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the Roberts Lake Association Clubhouse, 6968 Krahn Court. Organizers said attendees may use a golf cart ride service to and from their vehicles for added convenience.

The fishing contest is scheduled for 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, followed by an awards presentation at 4:30 pm. A Garcia 6500 reel will be awarded for the longest muskie, and trophies will be presented in both youth and adult divisions for the longest walleye, perch, crappie, northern, bass and bluegill.

A cash raffle drawing will take place at 5:30 pm and feature 58 prizes, including top awards of $1,000, $500, $400, $300 and $200, along with additional prizes ranging from $25 to $100. Organizers also said participants will have chances to win Milwaukee tool products, a large-screen television and other items.

Family-friendly activities are also planned throughout the day, including children’s games, a fishing pond, prizes, dice games and ring toss. Food and drinks will be available, along with a beer tent, spinning board raffles, meat raffles and a 50/50 raffle. Proceeds from the event will support lake environment and improvement efforts.

As a thank-you to supporters and friends of the association, canned beer will be available for $1 and hot dogs for $2 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
