LAKEWOOD – The McCauslin Brook Thursday Women’s Golf League celebrated the end of its season with a luncheon at Waubee Lake Lodge, where members presented a $3,000 donation to the Christian Food Pantry in Lakewood.

The money was raised through the league’s “Last Woman Standing” tournament, held in memory of Muggs Armstrong. Armstrong traditionally collected donations for the food pantry at the end of each golf season. Since her passing, Patty Bauman has continued the tradition by coordinating the annual collection.

Britta Johnson was named the winner of this year’s tournament.

The league’s generous contribution will help the Christian Food Pantry continue assisting local individuals and families in need.
