TOWNSEND – Wendt’s Sandbar Resort, 16688 Nicolet Rd., Townsend, will combine friendly competition with community giving during its annual Scavenger Hunt and Food Drive on Saturday, November 7, 2026.

Registration begins at 11:00 am, with the hunt starting at noon. Teams will compete for a 100% payout to the top three teams while collecting points and supporting the Christian Food Pantry.

Food donations will help teams boost their scores—the more food a team brings, the more points it earns. All donated food will go to the Christian Food Pantry, and donations are welcome from everyone, including those who do not participate in the hunt.

A costume contest will wrap up the event. To enter the contest, participants must either take part in the scavenger hunt or bring a food donation.

The annual gathering offers an opportunity to enjoy a fall outing with friends while helping stock the pantry for neighbors in need.
