TOWNSEND – A Waffle Fry Fundraiser benefiting Avail House in Antigo will be held Friday, August 21, 2026, from 7:30 to 9:30 am at 16836 Archibald Parkway in Townsend.

All proceeds from the event will go to Avail House, a domestic abuse shelter serving abuse survivors. The fundraiser will also feature bucket raffles, with raffle proceeds supporting the shelter.

AVAIL, which stands for Advocates for Victims of Domestic and Sexual Abuse began providing services to abuse survivors in 1980. The organization says it is committed to offering quality services to survivors of abuse and educating the public to help prevent violence.
