WABENO – The Wabeno Lions Club is celebrating a strong turnout for its 6th Annual Mega Meat Raffle, held Saturday, June 27, 2026, and is thanking the community for helping make the event a success. The annual fundraiser brought together supporters from across the area for a day of prizes, fellowship and community spirit.

Club members said the event would not have been possible without the support of residents, volunteers, Lions members and others who worked behind the scenes to keep the day running smoothly. From organizing raffle items to helping during the event, volunteers played an important role in making sure attendees had an enjoyable experience.

The club expressed appreciation for the generosity shown by everyone who attended, donated, purchased tickets or helped spread the word about the raffle. Members said that continued support reflects the strong sense of community that makes events like this possible year after year.

The club said proceeds from fundraisers such as the Mega Meat Raffle help support scholarships, youth programs, community organizations, local events and other projects throughout the year. By supporting the raffle, community members help the Lions Club continue its mission of giving back to Wabeno and the surrounding area.
