LAKEWOOD – Many organizations function as a result of the service of dedicated volunteers. Unfortunately, many area organizations report that finding volunteers is increasingly difficult. This is true for the Northwoods Community Assistance Coalition (NCAC) as well.

The NCAC is seeking volunteers to help carry out the core functions of the organization such as offering a lending closet of durable medical equipment, driving constituents to medical and other essential appointments, visiting with the elderly, assisting people with basic tasks that allow them to live independently, helping with home modifications such as building wheelchair ramps, helping with packaging and delivery of care baskets, and helping our board of directions with organizing educational and social programming.
