The Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of the Wolf River Region organizes the Memory Cafe program, providing a welcoming and supportive environment for individuals experiencing memory loss and their caregivers. This initiative creates a safe space where participants can socialize, share their experiences, and participate in meaningful activities alongside others facing similar challenges. Community members are encouraged to join and build connections with each other.
The Memory Cafe program is designed for people living with dementia, cognitive decline, or other forms of memory loss. It also extends its support to caregivers, family, and friends, offering an innovative approach to social engagement that fosters inclusion and companionship for all attendees.
Meetings take place on the third Thursday of each month at the Mountain’s Bill Lazansky Community Center, located at 13412 State Hwy 32 in Mountain. The upcoming event will be held on March 19, 2026, at 10:00 AM and will feature an Easter craft activity, providing an opportunity for creative expression and enjoyment.
