Support for the Crooked Lake Community Center Renovation Project

crooked lake mountain lions club 2026 02 24 1 850x445

The Crooked Lake Community Center plays a vital role in the life of the Crooked Lake community, serving as a gathering place for a variety of events and functions. However, the building is in need of several renovations. The most pressing requirements include improvements to the restrooms to better accommodate individuals with disabilities, expanded storage space, upgrades to outdated electrical systems, repairs to the roof, and a modernized kitchen that can meet the demands of our growing population.

This facility is a central location for important occasions such as funerals, Christmas parties, and fundraising events, and is utilized by nearly all members of the community at one time or another. Its versatile use underscores the importance of maintaining and improving the building to ensure it remains a safe and welcoming space for everyone.

The Crooked Lake/Mountain Lions Club is among the groups that benefit from the Community Center. Four club members regularly participate in exercise classes held there on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Additionally, the club utilizes the building to host annual events, including their Spaghetti Dinner, scheduled for April 11, and Oktoberfest celebrations. Recognizing the significance of the Community Center to local residents, the Crooked Lake/Mountain Lions Club has deemed it fitting to make another donation in the amount of $2,500.00 to support the renovation efforts.
