TOWNSEND – It’s that time of year again when Powers Service Center in Townsend begins preparing boats for the summer. As the blue tarps are removed from the pontoons stored over the winter, these tarps will be placed under the fronts of the pontoons, as shown in the reference image above.

Reuse of Tarps

If you find yourself in need of a tarp and see one available, you are welcome to take it. Powers Service Center values working collaboratively to ensure these tarps are reused, helping to keep them out of the landfill.

Respect and Location

Please be considerate of the property and the staff at Powers Service Center. The storage lot is conveniently situated at the intersection of State Highway 32 and County Road T.
