Oconto County is currently accepting applications for several summer positions including Highway Department Summer Laborer, Seasonal Campground Host at Chute Pond and North Bay Shore, and Summer Park Maintenance at both locations.

Highway Department-Summer Laborers are responsible for performing manual labor work of a routine nature in a wide variety of highway maintenance areas as directed.

Seasonal Campground Hosts/Caretakers represent Oconto County to visitors and handle minor maintenance of campsites and facilities. They should have strong communication skills, good manners, and a helpful attitude.

Summer Park Maintenance staff carry out routine manual tasks in various highway maintenance areas as instructed.

Candidates are required to be a minimum of 18 years old and possess either a high school diploma or GED.
