Following decades of dedicated service to the Lakewood Fire Department since 1986, the department’s tanker concluded its final assignment at the station on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. This vehicle has consistently supported departmental operations and will now be transferred to New York for repurposing and ongoing use.

The Lakewood Fire Department has introduced a new tanker equipped with increased water capacity and an advanced, multifunctional pump. This enhancement significantly strengthens the department’s operational effectiveness and commitment to public safety.
