LAKEWOOD – The Lakes Country Public Library is accepting applications for a full-time Library Director to oversee operations, staff, programming and community engagement for the Northern Oconto County library.
The position calls for a motivated leader with strong communication and technology skills who can manage day-to-day library services while working closely with the Lakes Country Public Library Board and area townships.
The director will be responsible for hiring, scheduling and supervising staff; developing and maintaining the library collection; managing the budget and facility; supporting outreach and partnerships; and promoting the library throughout the region.
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and be eligible for Grade II Wisconsin Library Certification. Three or more years of library or public service experience is preferred, along with a record of successful community engagement. A valid Wisconsin driver’s license is required.
The salary range for the full-time position is $47,000 to $54,000.
