Kid’s Fishing Tournament Set for June 27 in Townsend, Organizers Seek Prize Donations

TOWNSEND – The Kid’s Fishing Tournament will take place Saturday, June 27, 2026, in Townsend, with registration beginning at 7:00 am at Wendt’s Sandbar & Resort, 16688 Nicolet Rd. The registration fee is $1.00, and all fish must be weighed in by 1:00 pm.

Event organizers are also asking the community to donate prizes for children ages 3 and older, as well as items for basket raffles. Cash donations are being accepted. Prize and basket donations may be dropped off in advance by June 20 at Wendt’s Sandbar & Resort, or donors may contact Julie Karch to arrange pickup or drop-off.
