Friends of Mountain Fire Department to Host Independence Day Celebration July 3

MOUNTAIN – The Friends of Mountain Fire Department will host an Independence Day event filled with summer activities on Friday, July 3, 2026, at the Mountain Community Center, 13412 State Hwy. 32 in Mountain.

The daylong celebration will feature food, drinks, children’s games, face painting, meat raffles, basket raffles and fireworks. The event begins at 8 a.m. with breakfast, followed by kids’ games from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Meat raffles, featuring meats from Edleman Meats, will run from 4:30 to 8:00 pm.

Fireworks are scheduled for dusk, and the event is expected to conclude around 10:30 pm.

The Friends of Mountain Fire Department is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
