MOUNTAIN – The Friends of Mountain Fire Department extend their heartfelt appreciation to everyone who attended the season kickoff event held at The Schoolhouse Bar on Saturday, April 18, 2026. This gathering marked the official start of their 2026 schedule of activities and brought together valued supporters from the community.

Successful Fundraising Activities

Thanks to the generosity of all those who participated in the meat raffle, the Friends of Mountain Fire Department raised a total of $3,163.47. Additionally, the 50/50 raffle contributed another $420.00 to their fundraising efforts. The group is especially grateful to the winner of the 50/50 raffle, who kindly donated their prize back to the Friends of Mountain Fire Department.

A Grateful Community

The Friends of Mountain Fire Department are truly thankful to each and every individual who came out to support their mission. Their gratitude also extends to The Schoolhouse Bar in Mountain for graciously hosting the event and helping make it a memorable occasion.
