WABENO – Internationally acclaimed guitarist David Rogers will return to the Big Easel Gallery & Bistro in Wabeno for “Music of Arabian Spain” on Saturday, September 19, 2026.

Rogers blends classical, jazz and world music to create expressive and virtuosic performances. Described by The New York Times as “a prominent guitarist,” he has also earned praise from The Washington Post for his improvisational skills and has been called a modern master of classical guitar.

His music has appeared in major guitar publications and has been broadcast on National Public Radio and Germany’s Bayerischer Rundfunk. Rogers has performed and conducted master classes throughout North America, including appearances at the San Francisco Conservatory, the University of Southern California and Interlochen Arts Camp. He also spent 18 years as a musician with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and taught at Southern Oregon University for 13 years.

The evening will begin with dinner at 5 p.m., featuring chicken paella, honey-roasted carrots, salad and chocolates. The concert will follow dinner.
