MOUNTAIN – Dozens of community members lined Weller Road on Thursday July 16, 2026, as they waited for the 4:00 pm start of the Neighborhood Dairy Distribution at Spanky’s Landscaping, 13530 Silver Hill Road. Spanky’s Landscaping in Mountain was one of thirty locations that participated with the Neighborhood Dairy Distribution program on July 16.

Each community member received a cooler bag of products from local dairy producers.

The drive-through event offered area residents locally supplied dairy products packed in Neighborhood Dairy Distribution cooler bags. The bags were distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, with each vehicle receiving one bag while supplies lasted.

The distribution is part of a community-supported effort involving dairy farmers, dairy producers and distributors, area FFA chapters, and neighborhood volunteers. Together, the groups help make dairy products available to families and individuals in the Mountain area.
