WABENO – An evening of live music, cornhole competition, food and family fun is planned as the Wabeno Area Chamber of Commerce hosts its annual “Not in the Street” Street Dance & Cornhole Tourney on Friday, August 7, 2026 at the Firefighter’s Grounds/Fairgrounds in Wabeno.
The event will run from 4:30 pm to 11:00 pm at the Firefighter’s Grounds, 1829 Fairview Ave., Wabeno, offering entertainment for all ages throughout the evening.
Live music will begin with The Heathens Choir, performing from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, followed by Krazy Knights featuring Kasey Cottrell from 7:00 to 11:00 pm.
In addition to the live entertainment, attendees can enjoy raffles, beverages and activities designed for the entire family. The Wabeno Volunteer Fire Department will host the event’s food stand, offering refreshments throughout the evening.
The annual cornhole tournament is open to participants of all skill levels. Registration will be available at the fairgrounds until 5:00 pm, or players may pre-register by contacting Raletta at 715-927-7007. The tournament features a $30 entry fee with 100% payout to participants.
Organizers remind attendees that beverages will be served on the grounds and ask that no carry-ins be brought to the event.
