Crooked Lake Community to Celebrate Renovation Fundraising Success

CROOKED LAKE – The Crooked Lake community will gather Saturday, September 19, 2026 to celebrate the success of the “Renewing Together, Creating a Place for All” fundraising campaign and the community’s support for the Crooked Lake Community Center Renovation Project.

Ride Your Way, Deal & Celebrate

The celebration will be held at the Crooked Lake Community Center, 15345 County Highway W, and will begin with the Crooked Lake Poker Run from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm. The run will start and finish at the community center, with prizes awarded for lucky hands—and an unlucky one.

Poker Run stops will include the Crooked Lake Store, The Blind Walleye, Trail Side Bar and Grill, R and D’s Retreat and the Crooked Lake Volunteer Fire Department. Organizers expressed their appreciation to each participating stop for helping make the event possible.

A community celebration will follow from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Complimentary burgers and chips, an ice cream and sundae bar, beverages and prize drawings will be offered. A special recognition ceremony will take place at 3:00 pm.

Everyone is welcome to attend the community celebration, including both Poker Run participants and non-participants.
