- Understanding Grief
Planning AHEAD is a program designed to help individuals consider their health care preferences, financial obligations, legal documents, decisions about personal property, end-of-life choices, and coping with grief and emotional challenges. Participants receive a workbook to support them with manageable steps before or after each session.
Although 92% of people believe discussing end-of-life wishes is important, just 32% have actually had these conversations (Conversation Project, 2018). Using a structured approach for such discussions can enhance well-being for those nearing end-of-life as well as for their grieving families (Carr, 2019). Join us to learn more and get prepared!
