The Wabeno American Legion Sylvan Post 44 is a veterans’ service group made up of veterans, their descendants, and community volunteers. The Sons of the Legion (SAL) are male descendants, adopted sons, and stepsons of Legion members who actively support events. The American Legion Auxiliary assists the Legion and donates to local and veteran organizations.
