Wabeno Church to Host “House of David” Discussion Series

WABENO – Forest Larger Parish Presbyterian Church will offer a weekly viewing and discussion group centered on “House of David,” beginning November 2, 2026 at 10:00 am. All are welcome to attend the gatherings downstairs in the church building at 4347 North Branch Street, Wabeno.

The video series dramatizes Old Testament accounts of King David’s life, beginning with his youth. Like “The Chosen,” it uses creative interpretation to bring biblical people and events to the screen.

Participants will watch an episode each week, then read related Old Testament passages and discuss their meaning and application to everyday life. The group offers an opportunity to explore the Bible with others in a welcoming setting.

The sessions will be led entirely by lay participants and will feature discussion rather than preaching.
