LAKEWOOD – The Northwoods Community Assistance Coalition (NCAC) Board of Directors is seeking nominations for its annual Volunteer Appreciation Award, which will be presented during the organization’s volunteer appreciation dinner on November 18, 2026.

The award recognizes service provided by an NCAC volunteer during the 2026 calendar year. Nominators should include their nominee’s first and last name, along with a brief explanation of why the individual deserves recognition.

Submissions may use bulleted points or concise sentences describing the nominee’s contributions. Whenever possible, nominations should quantify the volunteer’s service, such as the time devoted or amount of assistance provided. Only work performed as an NCAC volunteer during 2026 should be included.

To protect the privacy of those served, nominations must not include the names or identifying information of individuals who received assistance.

Nominations may be mailed to NCAC, P.O. Box 251, Lakewood, WI 54138, or emailed to ncac4u@gmail.com.
