LAKEWOOD – The Friends of the Lakes Country Public Library will hold its annual Labor Day book sale Thursday through Saturday, September 3–5, 2026 at the Lakes Country Public Library, 15235 State Highway 32 in Lakewood. The used book sale will also include puzzles and DVDs.
The sale will open exclusively to members of the Friends of the Lakes Country Public Library from 1:00 to 4:00 pm Thursday, September 3. The public is invited to shop from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm Friday, September 4, and from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm Saturday, September 5.
The sale offers community members an opportunity to browse a selection of books while supporting the Friends and their efforts on behalf of the library. Those interested in receiving early access may become members of the Friends of the Lakes Country Public Library.
