Oconto County Veterans Memorial Meat Raffle Set for Aug. 15 at Skinny Dave’s

MOUNTAIN – The Oconto County Veterans Memorial will hold its 4th Annual Meat Raffle on Saturday, August 15, 2026 in conjunction with Skinny Dave’s Annual Pig & Corn Roast in Mountain.

The event will run from noon to 5:00 pm at Skinny Dave’s, 12848 State Highway 32, and will feature the annual pig and corn roast along with basket raffles and a 50/50 raffle.

The meat raffle serves as a fundraiser to help build the Oconto County Veterans Memorial, which is being created to honor veterans who served in the military from Oconto County.

Plans call for the names of Oconto County veterans to be placed on the memorial wall at no charge. Organizers say the memorial is intended to honor and show respect for the men and women who served and protected their country, county, towns, people and businesses.

In addition to serving as a lasting tribute to area veterans, the memorial is planned as an educational site for those who visit.

Community members are encouraged to attend the August 15 fundraiser, support the Oconto County Veterans Memorial and enjoy Skinny Dave’s Annual Pig & Corn Roast.
