About David Rogers
Praised by The New York Times as “a prominent guitarist” and celebrated for his expressive technique and improvisation, David Rogers seamlessly blends elements of classical, jazz, and world music in his performances. Widely recognized as a modern master of the classical guitar, Rogers has been featured internationally in respected publications and broadcasts, including NPR and Harmonia. He is an accomplished recording artist for Dorian, Callisto, and Focus Recordings, and has performed and taught throughout North America at esteemed institutions such as the San Francisco Conservatory and the University of Southern California. His studies with renowned musicians in both the U.S. and Europe have enriched his artistry, and his impressive career includes 18 years with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and 13 years teaching at Southern Oregon University.
