The Friends of Mountain Fire Department invite the community to help create a magical Mountain Community Christmas Tree Display. Local businesses and families are encouraged to contribute by decorating the Lazansky Community Center this holiday season.
From November 28 to December 5, 2025, bring and set up an artificial Christmas tree outside the Community Center. Feel free to decorate your tree in any style—let your business’s creativity and community pride shine!
Important details:
- Trees will be secured with sandbags to prevent them from falling over.
- Please use lights rated for outdoor use.
- A sign displaying your business name will be placed near your tree.
- Trees may be removed any time after the holidays, but must be taken down by January 5, 2026.
This event is not a fundraiser; it’s simply about spreading holiday cheer and fostering community spirit. All trees will be lit up for the “Santa Comes to Town” event on Saturday, December 6, 2025.
On that day, everyone is welcome to enjoy a free community dinner from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Santa will visit from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. to listen to children’s wishes, and kids can participate in Winter Carnival Games from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Join the Friends of Mountain Fire Department in bringing joy to Mountain! To coordinate your tree or confirm your sign’s wording, please contact Wayne O’Barski, FOMFD Member, at 920-323-6787. The Lazansky Community Center is located at 13412 State Hwy 32/64 in Mountain.
